"I was delighted to be able to support the Pembrokeshire Alzheimer's Society by attending their AGM," said Mrs Burns. "My family has been directly affected by the condition and I was very impressed by the amount of work that the Society does in helping those with Alzheimer's and their carers in our county.

"I am determined to raise awareness about dementia in general and Alzheimer's in particular and am now working with the branch to help them continue their excellent work."
