Two New Quay RNLI crew members are preparing to swap the high seas for a seven hour water ride-athon at Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire.

Ben Billingham, full-time mechanic and RNLI volunteer Ceri Knapgate visited the park this week (9th June) which whet their appetite for the madcap challenge on Monday 16th June.

Wales Air Ambulance Volunteers south of the County hold monthly meetings to plan events and share news of fundraising.

Over the last few months, Mark and Wendy Wood, proprietors of The Angel Inn, Narberth have provided the venue and refreshments for these get togethers and this week the Volunteers publicly thanked them for their generosity.

James Hook kicked off 'Golden Hour Challenge', the National Campaign for Wales Air Ambulance, on Wednesday 13th June at at Swansea Airport.

James launched the campaign which takes place from September 24th-30th. It is an awareness campaign for Wales Air Ambulance and the charity will be asking the people of Wales to fundraise during this week to help support the service in the lifesaving work that it does.

A night to remember! That was the verdict of the the 600 plus audience who had just been treated to an incredible show.

"That'll be the day", a Rock 'n' Roll Variety Show staged at Folly Farm on 5th May had the audience participating fully in the nostalgia of the Rock n Roll era, joining in the songs and humour.

Representatives from the new souvenir shop at Tenby Lifeboat Station, which has been hailed winner of the charity's National Supporter Awards will travel to London today (17th May) to pick up their award.
