The walk on Sat 4th March started in brilliant sunshine from Wiseman's Bridge and took a scenic wooded route to Colby Woodlands Gardens.

A blizzard en route to Stepaside surprised the 29 walkers, but luckily it was short lived. After hearing about the industrial heritage of Pleasant Valley, including the Iron Smelting Works at Stepaside, the remainder of the 6 mile walk was continued in sunshine. Many of the Ramblers ended the walk sitting outside the Wiseman's Bridge Inn with drinks.

Pembrokeshire Ramblers' Group was first formed in 1972 and has grown into a flourishing and friendly association of walkers and extend a warm welcome to visitors in this beautiful part of Wales. For more information on the Pembrokeshire Ramblers and their future walks, please see their Web site.
