The Narberth Steps2Health walking group have now been walking together every week for six months.

After a very enjoyable walk in pleasant autumn sunshine at Blackpool Mill recently Steps2Health co-ordinator Paul Morris marked the occasion by presenting achievement badges. Eleanor Bates and Ruth Barnes, who have each enjoyed 25 walks, were rewarded with Silver badges while seven other walkers all received Bronze badges having achieved more than 10 walks each.

Paul said: “I am really pleased with the success of the Narberth group. Everybody who joins in seems to enjoy a nice social walk followed by a cup of tea or coffee. I especially like to thank the volunteer walk leaders, Patrick Boothman, Naomi Jones, Annie Stuart and most recently Geraldine Leach, for making it all possible.”

The group catches the Dial-a-Ride bus from the bus shelter by the primary school in Narberth at 10:30 every Wednesday morning. It’s all free so just turn up.
