A large party of 30 Ramblers enjoyed a very pleasant walk to Marloes along the coast path from St Brides Haven on Saturday 13th January.

The group returned through fields, pausing for a picnic lunch at the sheltered area near Musselwick Bay.

The main challenge of the day had been to traverse the thick mud in fields behind Kensington Palace, giving the walkers many original ideas on how to slither, slide, leap or trudge through the morass.

With impeccable timing the rain started at 2 pm just as we arrived back to our cars at St.Brides Haven.

The Pembrokeshire Ramblers' Group was first formed in 1972 and has grown into a flourishing and friendly association of walkers and extend a warm welcome to visitors in this beautiful part of Wales.
