On Sunday 18th February, 21 walkers met at the Commons car park in Pembroke for a 7 mile walk.

It was a sunny morning and we set off across fields to join Brockfield Lane and continued over fields where we met a bee keeper who had come to inspect his 60,000 bees in their hives (thank goodness)!

We continued over a broken concrete bridge which made for an interesting crossing of the fast flowing stream.

We had our lunch stop overlooking Freshwater East where fine views were had.

We turned back through the very wet and muddy fields and on through Lamphey and made our way back to the start.

The Pembrokeshire Ramblers' Group was first formed in 1972 and has grown into a flourishing and friendly association of walkers and extend a warm welcome to visitors in this beautiful part of Wales.
