A Walk Near Solva

In brilliant sunshine, but with a cool north-easterly breeze, Sunday 1st April saw 31 members meet at Solva Car Park for a 7 mile walk.

After climbing out of the harbour, inland paths were used to get to Nine Wells. Then a short section of the coast path was used on Morfa Common before turning inland again.

Field paths and country lanes were then followed to Caer Bwdi Bay which was a good spot for lunch as there was plenty of shelter from that cool breeze.

After lunch the return to Solva was by way of the Coast Path.

Solva is an ideal place for refreshments and many took advantage of this before going home.

The Pembrokeshire Ramblers' Group was first formed in 1972 and has grown into a flourishing and friendly association of walkers and extend a warm welcome to visitors in this beautiful part of Wales.
