A group of 33 ramblers met at Carew Castle on Sunday 4th November for a 7 mile walk on a dry morning. The walk was led by Karen with help from her daughter Amy.

Leaving Carew the group walked towards the limestone quarry into fields, lanes and through Cresselly Big Woods. We had lunch outside the woods taking in the views of the beautiful autumn colours of the trees.

Birthday celebrations were held for Terry W who was 80 later in the week, and also celebrating their birthdays were Christine M and Evelyn H.

After lunch we passed Cresselly and made our way towards Cresswell Quay, making a short stop to take in the views of the estuary, wildlife and scenery.

We made our way through fields heading back to Carew Tidal Mill and Carew Castle finishing at the Celtic Cross.

The Pembrokeshire Ramblers' Group was first formed in 1972 and has grown into a flourishing and friendly association of walkers and extend a warm welcome to visitors in this beautiful part of Wales.
