Cyclists in Pembroke Dock are being warned not to ride on the pavements.

The Pembroke Dock Neighbourhood Policing Team have had numerous complaints about inconsiderate cyclists.

PCSO Rhian Thatcher said: “People have complained that cyclists are literally riding into them on the pavements nearly knocking them over.

“While we appreciate it is probably safer for young children to ride on the pavement we are asking everyone to be responsible and watch out for pedestrians.

“Confident cyclists should use the road as it is an offence to cycle on the pavement and they could receive a fixed penalty notice.”
