Tenby Coastguards get their Long Service Medals and Commendations

At a ceremony, attended by Coastguards and their relatives, in Tenby Sailing Club, on 7th April, 2008, the Acting Area Operations Manager Carl Evans presented medals and commendations to members of the Tenby, St. Govans and Llansteffan Coastguard Rescue Teams.
The Long Service Medal for 20 years dedication was awarded to Station Officer Mike Day of Tenby, and additional 30yrs service Bars were awarded to Graham Jones and Mike Tebbutt whose wife received it on his behalf due to his hospitalisation.
Also awarded with commendations, given to all those Coastguards who served in Gloucestershire during the Flood Relieve of the summer of 2007, were Sector Manager Dave Miller, Mark Parkin, Des Rees, Chris Rogers and Dai Robbins, Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team, Sophie Scourfield, St. Govans CRT, Daren Sainty and Steve Heckler Llanstephan CRT.
